Brad Walters is a world traveling, destination wedding photographer flying to unique and stunning locations like Anguilla photographing destination weddings.

Anguilla is my all time favorite island for destination weddings, and I’m counting the days until I get to shoot another wedding on the island. The island itself is only 16-17 miles long (depending on which source you read from) and is still largely uninhabited. You might even catch Jimmy Buffett there! He played a concert on the island only two weeks after my last Anguilla wedding!

The average temperature is around 80°, with an average humidity level of just over 70%. Although the summer months can be uncomfortably warm, the sheer beauty of the island makes up for the slightly warm temperature.

Because of Anguilla’s extremely small size and relatively remote setting, the tourism industry in Anguilla is not extensive, so in turn neither is the industry for destination weddings. However, this is one of Anguilla’s charms in my opinion. It is possible to walk along the beach, looking over at St. Martin, and not see a single soul or structure. I really got the feeling that I was walking along a beach that looked exactly the same as it did thousands of years ago before any man walked along that particular stretch of beach.

Anguilla’s most famous resort is the legendary 5 star CuisinArt Resort and Spa, which rivals the best hotels in all the Caribbean. The resort is also one of my favorite wedding venues for Anguilla destination weddings. With its open air bar, and infinity pool just outside, it's the perfect setting for Anguilla destination wedding photographers to capture the most romantic and scenic Anguilla wedding photography. Another great resort for Anguilla destination wedding is the Cap Juluca, voted "Wedding Destination of the Year" by NBC, and one of the "50 Sexiest Hotels" by Brides Magazine. The Malliohana Hotel and Spa is yet another high-end luxury hotel that offers services for destination weddings on Anguilla.

If you're looking for accomodations a little less costly than the famous CuisinArt Resort for Anguilla destination weddings, I suggest the Anguila Greathouse. It's just a 5 minute walk down the beach from the CuisinArt, and offers very authentic Anguillan lodging.

I really cannot say enough about Anguilla destination weddings. If you’re looking for a destination wedding that you could use the following words about; escape, natural, beautiful, surreal, picturesque, isolated, romantic and luxurious, then you have found your island and should research Anguilla further. I’m giving Anguilla weddings the Brad Walters Photography 5 star rating. Plan your wedding there, and then call me. Call early though.

As with many destination wedding venues, there could be a number of resorts in Anguilla that do not allow destination wedding photographers, so be sure to choose a resort that allows a wedding photographer for your Anguilla destination wedding. Contact our studio to be sure your venue is accommodating to destination wedding photographers. Utilizing the hotel photographer for your Anguilla destination wedding photography is highly discouraged, as more often than not these employees are not trained destination wedding photographers.
